Want to join but you live in an inconvenient timezone for the live sessions?

Hey there!

Dan here from the LYT Team. Thank you for considering the LYT workshop.

Nick and I were just discussing this the other day. He shares his answers here in our new FAQ page.

So to give you more context about the workshop: the main lessons are going to be drip-fed each week.

They're going to be a mixture of videos, audio, and text. And each lesson will have prompts for you to think about the lessons, and how it can apply to you. You'll then be encouraged to make comments on each lesson and on your fellow workshopper's insights as you go along.

There's going to be a lot of value in these comments and discussions. I've seen firsthand a lot of joyful connections from our last four workshops because of this environment.

As for the live sessions, we will have two of them:

The first one is focused on the weekly unit's lessons. The second one is more hands-on. They're called Sensemaking sessions. There will be four of these.

Both sessions will be recorded. We aim to upload all recordings within 1-2 hours after the event. They're also going to have timestamps and chat transcripts for your reference.

So in this way, you can still continue to connect with everyone else in the forum "asynchronously" once the videos are up.

And this is the kind of culture that we're trying to build with our workshops. No matter where you are from, all are supported by the LYT community to lean forward and experience the uncomfortable. So that you can create your custom PKM system that's future-proof and helps you and the people around you to become better thinkers.

I hope this answer helps you have an idea on how you can get the most out of the workshop.

Does this help?

Please let me know if you have any more questions I can help you with. Glad to support you.

Stay connected,

Dan
