Dan Allosso is an author, historian, and teacher. He has a PhD in History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Masters in Latin American History at Minnesota State University, Mankato; following a BS in Agricultural Economics (also from UMass). He has taught Environmental History at UMass and currently teaches US, World, and Environmental History at Bemidji State University in northern Minnesota.
