Case Study

What's something that you approach differently because of what you've learned from the workshop?
I'm not exaggerating when I say that my entire approach to running my business has changed since the workshop. But there are a few things that stand out to me as having already provided a meaningful ROl:
• Capturing my ideas & creating notes in a way that allow me to find them quickly & easily (saving me the hours l used to waste each week searching for things)
• Allowing projects to develop slowly over time because I know I can pick up where I left off at any point (vs my old way of thinking I needed to clear my calendar for weeks at a time to get entire projects rolled out all at once —- stressful, impractical & not conducive to shipping my best work!)
• Breaking free of only ever doing top down thinking and actually getting my "gardener" hands dirty which has uncapped my creative potential & led to a speeding up of my entire idea development process
What advice would you give to someone who's considering the LYT Workshop or to a first time student?
Know that despite it being a short workshop, you're embarking on what can be an invaluable lifelong journey - IF you choose to see it that way. So yes, get excited about the inevitable quick wins you'll experience, and have patience and tons of self-compassion... because you're going to have to embrace imperfection, messiness and beginner's mind if you want to truly benefit from the workshop!
Oh, and as someone who tends not to be much of a "joiner" when it comes to communities and group programs -- learn from my mistake and just get involved! It's the most incredible community I've ever experienced. The feedback and encouragement I received were pivotal in helping me stay committed and actually completing the workshop on my second time through. And taking part in the showcase (despite being terrified!) was - as well as being one of the highlights of my year - a major comfort zone expander. Don't think — just dive in the deep end.
Any other comments or recommendations about the LYT Workshop?
If you're someone who knows you have so much to share with the world but your ideas feel like they're stuck, rattling around your over-stimulated brain...
...Or who's sick of being in a cycle of "gets excited - furiously scribbles down your ideas on the closest notepad or device - then wastes most of their energy trying to find said ideas again rather than doing something meaningful with them"...
...Or who just wants to become a more creative, articulate, organised version of yourself..
...You need to take the workshop.

Her PKM system is being put through its paces these days as she's in the process of redeveloping her "Magnetic Brand Blueprint" - the overarching framework of her work - with the intention to re-build her self-paced offer suite. With multiple course curriculums to redesign as well as countless systems & templates that require detailed documentation, this is an undertaking that, prior to LYT, she was making painfully slow progress with.
